Two Thousand & Ten

This year has been an all time high, and an all time low.
I won't bore you with details. Thanks to everyone who purchased
a zine or dropped me a line. I've seen so many amazing films
this year I decided to hit you up with my top ten:

Of course, there are so many more I've missed out. I've recently
managed to watch the entire Twin Peaks collection, which I might
add, was bliss. Looking forward to getting the next zine finished
and starting new projects. I leave you with a song from my

Vol. 1

Sloth Chronicles Vol. 1 is almost ready....
Hopefully it'll be finished in time for February,
which would make 3 zines in a year, which isn't bad
considering I only ever intended on making one.

Stuck Inside Of Sankey With The Winter Blues Again

Snowed in with a pot of coffee and the Twin Peaks
collection...it isn't so bad after all.

Winter Wonderland

After waking up in a giant snow globe, I managed
to make it to the gallery for the Christmas Fair. As well
as manning my stall, I was on record spinning duties.
It was hip to the word hop. Cake was consumed and
Martha and her Vandellas rang out. Kate kindly gave me
this beautiful little sketch pad too. Time for coffee
and the only song worthy right now...

Christmas Fair

I've got my own stall at the Christmas Fair held
at Warrington's Bank Quay House Gallery this

Last day at the gallery. Marked the occasion with
my usual glass of milk & chocolate milk cookie. Also
featuring one of the many faces of Mesrine. By far
the best French film I've seen since A Prophet
2 days earlier...

Finally watched Wings Of Desire. It doesn't get much
better than that. It's been two days and it's still haunting me.
Wim Wenders run for the hills because I'm coming to take

Right Around The Corner

Whilst on my travels today, I happened to pass by
this eerie looking farm house near where I live.
I've always wondered if it's occupied by anyone, as it
looks pretty disheveled. It looked particularly creepy
today, Chainsaw Massacre-esque. Maybe because
I watched The Orphanage last night.

Fresh Crop

Jim Jarmsuch successfully knocked me off my
feet last night with Ghost Dog. I wasn't sure what
to expect, but Jarmusch never lets me down. It
was like Tarantino directing Leon, with The RZA
conducting the orchestra.

The Voices Of The Spheres Take Over

Woyzeck was hauntingly beautiful. It has cemented
Kinski up there with De Niro and Day Lewis. Next up

Woyzeck

Good morning November. The Herzog odyssey continues
with Woyzeck. Merely 5 days after finishing Nosferatu,
Herzog shot the film in 18 days, with 4 days of editing. I've
come to terms with the fact that Klaus Kinski may very well
be the greatest actor that ever lived.

Werner Herzog Kept Me Company

Another day in the gallery, with Werner Herzog for company.
I'm sure he'd be great to hang with, listening to stories about
plotting to kill Klaus Kinski and eating his own shoe.
